Job summary

The Pines at Placerville is seeking an experienced LVN Wound/Treatment Nurse to join our dedicated care team in Placerville, CA. This full-time role focuses on wound care, skin integrity, and resident comfort, with a competitive hourly wage of $40–$45 DOE.

You will assess and treat wounds, develop care plans with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, document findings, educate residents and families, and help ensure infection control and regulatory compliance in a supportive, team-driven

Qualifications

• Current, active California LVN license and wound care certification required.
• Minimum two years nursing experience with wound care emphasis.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and treating wounds, skin conditions, and other dermatologic concerns.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Performing skin assessments and maintaining clinical documentation.
• Monitoring treatment effectiveness and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Providing resident and family education regarding wound prevention and treatment.
• Ensuring infection control practices and regulatory compliance.
• Participating in care planning meetings with nursing staff and other professionals.
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, rehabilitation support, and resident advocacy.
• Maintaining wound care supplies and treatment resources.
