Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California seeks an experienced LVN with nursing management responsibilities to oversee patient care in a long-term care setting. Qualifications

• Currently LVN licensed in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred.
• Experience in SNF/LTC settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice per standards, orders, and guidelines.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and admissions/discharges.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Might make rounds with physicians as needed.
