Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify and monitor patients in programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely according to facility policy.
• Receives and transcribes physician orders per Nurse Practice Act when allowed.
• Manges rounds with physicians when necessary.
