Adams Rehabilitation and Care Center in Alexander City, Alabama, seeks a detail‑oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 6‑8 week wound care assignment. Day shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is hourly and based on experience, with benefits and on‑demand pay options.

You will conduct wound assessments, administer treatments, monitor progress, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based care. Alabama licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Alabama LPN license.
• Wound care experience or certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with PCC or other EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer wound care treatments including dressings, debridement, and documentation.
• Monitor wound healing progression and share findings with the care team.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and therapists to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate staff, patients, and families on wound care management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in wound care delivery.
