Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an experienced Director of Wound Care to lead our wound care program and advance patient outcomes. This leadership role emphasizes high-quality patient care, staff development, and adherence to accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include directing wound care services, optimizing staff-to-patient ratios, collaborating with administration, and implementing policies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess RN Licensure in good standing.
• Have current CPR certification and maintain same.
• Must have Certified Wound Specialist certification and maintains same.
• Minimum of five years nursing experience is required.
• Three years’ experience in wound care supervisory roles, with increasing responsibility, desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage wound care staff.
• Direct all wound care service activities – making recommendations for staff/patient ratios.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and administration.
• Promote productivity of staff.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
