Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a skilled clinician to assess, evaluate, and treat patients with wounds, ostomy care, and related incontinence issues. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to plan and execute comprehensive patient treatments.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS certification, and 2 years of clinical wound/ostomy experience. This role emphasizes patient education, care coordination, and ongoing CEU maintenance.

Qualifications

• Education in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 2 years of clinical experience in wound/ostomy care preferred.
• Experience with research, data analysis, and editing collateral preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomy care, and related issues.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and ancillary personnel to plan and perform patient care.
• Educate patients and families on wound and ostomy management and incontinence care.
• Maintain CEU credits as required by the state.

Licenses and Certifications
