Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a qualified clinician to assess, evaluate and treat patients with wounds, ostomy care, fistulae, skin and incontinence issues. You will work with physicians, nurses and staff to develop and perform individualized treatment plans while educating patients on proper wound care and ostomy management.

Required licensure for RN/PT/OT in Georgia and CEU maintenance, with a preference for experience in wound/ostomy care and CWSC/CWOCN certifications.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years clinical experience in wound/ostomy care preferred.
• Georgia state licensure required for RN / PT / OT as applicable.
• Maintain CEUs as required by the state.
• CWSC or CWOCN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with wounds, ostomy management, fistulae, skin, and incontinence issues.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary staff to plan and perform treatments.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and ostomy management.
