Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Physician to join our dynamic healthcare system in Northwest Missouri. This is a unique opportunity to work in a thriving clinic that serves as the primary wound care center for the region. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized care for patients with chronic wounds and other skin integrity issues
Perform and oversee hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions
Conduct minor office procedures and surgical debridements, both in the clinic and operating room
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic EMR
Educate patients and families on wound management and preventative care
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board certified or board eligible
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited specialty training program
Additional training in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine is preferred but not required
Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri
Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
