Wound Care Medical Director Northwest Arkansas

Seeking a full-time physician to lead as Medical Director at a Wound Care Center in Fayetteville area. This is an outpatient-only position with no nights, weekends, or call offering an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to join an experienced, multidisciplinary team.

Position Highlights:
• Full-time Medical Director role at an established wound care center
• Join a team of 3 mid-level providers within a comprehensive limb salvage program
• Collaborate with specialists in infectious disease, vascular surgery, cardiology, and orthopedics
• Outpatient-only; high-volume patient care
• Support and training provided by leading experts in wound care and hyperbaric medicine

Schedule & Compensation:
• Monday Friday, daytime hours only
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Competitive compensation

• Medical benefits, 4 weeks PTO, 5 CME days + CME allowance

Responsibilities Include:
• Evaluate and manage wound care patients (initial and follow-up)
• Supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) treatments
• Perform procedures such as debridement, grafts, and advanced wound care modalities
• Coordinate care with referring providers and patient care teams
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation

Requirements:
• Active Arkansas medical license (or eligibility)
• HBO certification required (training provided and sponsored if needed)
• Prior wound care experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and clinical collaboration skills
