Job summary

Christ Church Cathedral, Houston, TX, seeks a full-time Coordinator for Worship and Music, who, under the direction of the Director of Music and Canon Vicar, will coordinate the logistics of the parish’s liturgical and musical life.

The role supports five Sunday services, online audiences, and a growing youth choir program, coordinating volunteers, calendars, baptisms, confirmations, and special services from preparation through day-of execution.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to manage volunteers and multi-generational community.
• Willingness to learn Planning Center and tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Place worship services on the calendar and manage communications requests.
• Recruit, schedule, and manage liturgical volunteers (Lectors, Ushers, etc.).
• Serve as Planning Center Services assistant for scheduling.
• Coordinate trainings for liturgical volunteers.
• Schedule retirement home services and clergy calendars.
• Oversee music ministry volunteers and calendar; coordinate choir RSVPs.
