Job summary

Connersville Christian Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to guide our congregation in Christ-centered worship. The role involves planning and leading our weekly worship with the Lead Minister, blending contemporary songs and traditional hymns.

You will recruit and organize volunteer worship and technology teams, model faithful leadership, and communicate clearly with church leadership. A warmth for ministry and strong musical ability on guitar or keyboard are essential.

• Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a growing faith.
• Heart for congregational worship and a desire to help others worship God.
• Able to lead congregational worship confidently and effectively.
• Musically proficient on guitar or keyboard and capable of leading vocally.
• Able to lead a blended worship style incorporating both contemporary songs and traditional hymns.
• Able to recruit, schedule, organize, encourage, and lead volunteer worship and technology teams.
• Relational, approachable, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Able to communicate clearly and consistently with the Lead Minister and worship team members.
• Highly organized and comfortable developing and following systems for weekly worship preparation.
• Teachable and willing to work collaboratively with church leadership.
• Able to pass a background check.

The Worship Leader will work closely with the Lead Minister to plan and lead the congregation’s weekly worship experience while providing leadership, encouragement, and organization for our volunteer worship and technology teams.
