Job summary

New City Church in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a gifted worship leader to lead weekly gatherings, building a gospel-centered, Christ-exalting worship culture from the ground up.

The role is part-time (~10 hours/week) with potential to grow into full-time as the church grows. You will recruit and shepherd musicians, plan sets, and collaborate with the Lead Pastor to align music with Scripture and sermon themes.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead worship vocally and instrumentally (guitar or piano preferred).
• Strong musical leadership and stage presence.
• Team development and disciple-making mindset.
• Ability to plan and organize worship gatherings effectively.
• Familiarity with worship and production tools.

Responsibilities

• Shape Christ-exalting worship gatherings that are gospel-saturated and Scripture-driven.
• Cultivate a vertical worship culture in the congregation.
• Build and shepherd the worship team through recruitment and training.
• Coordinate worship and production elements with the service producer.
• Advance the church's mission by aligning worship with discipleship.
