Job summary

Goodwater Church in Whitefish, Montana is seeking a Worship Leader to serve as the primary leader of worship through music and to oversee our media team. This part-time role requires 10-20 hours per week and reports to the Executive Pastor.

• Demonstrate mastery of ProPresenter, Planning Center, and CCLI; manage audio/visuals.
• Develop musicians and volunteers to grow their skills.

Job description

Position Title: Worship Leader
Location: Whitefish, Montana
Reports To: Executive Pastor
Type: Part-Time (10-20 hours/week)
Role Description: The Worship Leader will serve as the primary leader in cultivating worship through music and providing direction and oversight to the Goodwater Church media team. The Worship Leader will be a mature follower of Christ who helps people know the Lord and make Him known through facilitating opportunities for authentic worship through music.

Key Responsibilities

• Musical Capability: Possesses the skill to lead vocally and instrumentally.
• Team Development: Oversees the recruitment, development, and utilization of others as a part of the worship team.
• Disciplemaker: A regular, ongoing pattern of investing in individuals for their spiritual growth in a way that they go invest in other people’s spiritual growth–specifically among the worship team.
• Technological Capabilities: Demonstrates mastery of relevant software platforms (i.e., ProPresenter, Planning Center, CCLI) and fluency in sound, lights, and video.
• Leader Development: Utilizes the opportunity to develop other musicians and technical volunteers to grow them in their skills.

Salary range $25,000 to $50,000 depending on qualifications and number of hours (10-20 per week).
