Job summary

Faith Church St Louiscom is looking for a dedicated Worship Leader to lead worship services and oversee choir activities at their Sunset Hills Campus. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40-45 hours per week, including weekends, with a rotating schedule. Support for professionals dedicated to worship is essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead worship at campus weekend services (campus rotation).
• Lead campus rehearsal on Thursday.
• Lead Tuesday night service worship (rotating schedule).
• Lead worship at staff meetings (rotating schedule).
• Lead 4 of 6 connect groups (minimum 2 must be musically focused).
• Oversee auditions & assimilation process (STL and FL):
• Liaison between web team and worship team for audition videos.
• Schedule live auditions in STL.
• Weekly video audition submission review and response.
• Collaborate with musical directors to ensure parallel processes with vocalists.
• Constantly improve assimilation process and communication.
• Choir liaison to improve and utilize choir with choir leader.
• Vocal resources (vocal section leaders):
• Liaison to vocal section leaders.
• Establish vocal parts, record them or pull from multitracks.
• Schedule recording sessions, record and upload all vocals on PCO vocal parts for all songs in sets.
• Schedule stage plots & mic assignments for all STL campuses.
• Aide in scheduling (vocalists and bands).
• Submit weekly pulse reports.
• Oversee development of Dream Team vocalists.
• Develop section leaders.
• Schedule quarterly teach nights (alternate between SH and FF).
• Schedule auditions for current Dream Teamers to audition in front of Worship Pastor for lead positions.
• Lead vocalist development and stewardship:
• Leader nights: input all lead vocalists keys, schedule auditions, submit leads to Creative Programming Director, PCO quality control.
• Attend weekly worship meetings.
• Submit time on Paycom weekly by Sunday.
• Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Perform other responsibilities as determined by the Creative Programming Director.

Work Environment

Operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment and performs on stage with dimmed/bright lighting, dancing, active movement, stage fog, and stage fire effects.

Physical Demands

Office time is mostly sedentary; worship & practice is high energy for multiple hour segments.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Your weekly schedule will include 40-45 hours per week and will be the same every week. Additional events may require evening or weekend hours.

Schedule

• Sunday: varies based on assigned campus.
• Monday: 9:00‑5:00 CST.
• Tuesday: 9:00‑9:00 CST.
• Wednesday: 9:00‑5:00 CST.
• Thursday: Off.
• Friday: Off.
• Saturday: 1:00‑8:30 CST.

Travel

Campus to campus local travel and occasional overnight trips are expected.
