Job summary

Legacy Baptist Church in Dallas, GA is seeking a Worship Leader to provide Christ-centered, biblically grounded leadership for our multigenerational worship ministry. This role includes planning and leading worship services, developing worship teams, coordinating technical production, and investing in the next generation of worshipers.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep relationship with Jesus, a heart for service, and strong vocal and musical leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Agreement with the church’s doctrinal statement.
• Worship leadership experience preferred.
• Strong vocal and musical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Humble, servant-hearted team player.
• College degree or formal music training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all worship services using hymns, contemporary songs, and newer expressions.
• Organize and lead rehearsals for musicians, vocalists, and tech teams.
• Recruit, develop, and shepherd worship ministry volunteers.
• Collaborate with audio, lighting, and production teams.
• Oversee worship ministry calendar, budget, and special events.
• Invest in children, youth, and college students to cultivate future worship leaders.
