Job summary

Newlife Graceville is seeking a part-time worship leader to pioneer a worship ministry from the ground up, shaping sound and culture while building a team and creating an environment where people encounter God.

Working with the Location Pastor, you will turn vision into reality for Graceville and beyond, recruit and develop volunteers, lead worship, plan services, roster teams, and lay the creative/technical foundations for a growing church.

• Has a genuine passion for Jesus and a heart for worship.
• Has experience leading worship and/or serving in a worship ministry.
• Is confident musically and able to lead others.
• Enjoys building teams and bringing people together.
• Is creative, proactive and excited by the opportunity to build something new.
• Can recruit, develop and empower volunteers.
• Has experience with service planning, production and the practical coordination of worship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape a worship ministry from the ground up.
• Recruit, develop, encourage and empower a team of musicians, vocalists and creatives.
• Lead worship and establish an authentic, God-centred worship culture.
• Plan and coordinate worship for Sunday gatherings.
• Roster and support volunteers so people can serve with confidence and joy.
• Collaborate with Location Pastor and church team to realize the vision for Newlife Graceville.
• Develop people through encouragement, mentoring and practical growth opportunities.
• Help establish the creative and technical foundations of a new church as it grows.

• Helping establish the creative and technical foundations of a new church as it grows.
