Job summary

The Worship Leader works under the supervision of the Lead Pastor to develop Spirit-led and engaging praise during weekend services. This role requires humility, discernment, and teachability, with a passion for inviting worshippers to encounter Jesus and for building and sustaining teams across backgrounds to fulfill Central Ministries’ mission.

Responsibilities include leading the Worship Leader Team, scheduling band and vocalists, creating or obtaining charts and resources, and leading

Qualifications

Experience leading praise for at least 2 years; 5+ years preferred.
Must be a spiritually, mentally, and emotionally mature leader.
Able to lead larger teams.
Must be aligned with Central Ministries' culture and vision.
A vocalist and instrumentalist with excellence in music.
Strong administrative skills to manage platforms and schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead the Worship Leader Team and advance the vision with the Lead Pastor.
Schedule worship leaders, band, and vocalists for services.
Create or procure music charts and resources via Planning Center Online or other systems.
Lead mid-week rehearsal with available band and vocalists.
Recruit and mentor worship leaders within the congregation.
Develop young musicians with Children’s and Student ministries.
Coordinate service elements and flow with the Lead Pastor and Worship Leaders.
