Sleepy Hollow Middle School

World Language Teacher (Dual certification in both Spanish & Italian)

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the NYS approved Italian & Spanish Curriculum (including college-level Italian and Spanish) and the Checkpoint A & B exam, demonstrate an understanding of effective pedagogical practices that promote a student-centered learning environment, have experience working with a diverse student population, and feel comfortable integrating technology as an instructional and learning tool.

Appointment: Probationary Track

Required NYS Certification(s): Dual Certification in both Spanish (Grades 7-12), & Italian (Grades 7-12), (additional FLES certification ideal).

Effective: September 1, 2025

Salary: Salary and benefits per the TAT Contract-range for teachers based on experience and education.

Must attend New Educators' Meetings August 22nd, 25th, and 26th, & Superintendent's Conference Days, August 27th & 28th.
