Job summary

Sentry Insurance Company is seeking a Workplace Technology Engineer to join our team. You will contribute by innovating with emerging technologies, learning through Sentry University and peer sessions, and growing through meaningful career conversations.

You will work in a fast-paced solutions engineering and support environment, delivering outcomes via scripting and automation. The role emphasizes collaboration with lead engineers and technical leadership across desktop hardware and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with operating systems and Microsoft 365 in enterprise.
• Proficiency in scripting automation language.
• Strong infra knowledge: servers, networks, storage, security.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex end-point problems and incidents.
• Improve process efficiencies through automation and scripting.
• Enhance client experience by delivering reliable support and solutions.
• Develop relationships with lead engineers and technical leadership across desktop hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with operating systems and Microsoft 365 ecosystems in an enterprise office setting.
• Proficiency with scripted automation in a relevant scripting language.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure technology (servers, networks, storage, security).
