Workplace Investigations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Workplace Investigations Manager to join our client’s growing corporate team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a fair, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture by leading high-quality internal investigations related to employee conduct and policy violations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience conducting complex investigations, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive outcomes with integrity and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end investigations into employee misconduct, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and wage and hour concerns
- Conduct remote interviews with employees and relevant parties while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Review data, documents, and records to support objective, fact-based findings
- Draft clear, detailed investigative reports and recommend appropriate actions using a consistent decision-making framework
- Partner with Legal, HR, and business leaders to provide consultation on outcomes and next steps
- Identify trends and insights to support process improvements and mitigate organizational risk
- Contribute to team strategy and help implement departmental initiatives
- Promote a culture of trust, respect, and accountability, while championing diversity and inclusion in all investigations
- Collaborate with peers to evolve best practices, case workflows, and training content
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience conducting workplace investigations
- Strong track record managing sensitive or complex cases in areas such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and wage/hour issues
- Outstanding communication and interviewing skills, with the ability to build trust and uncover facts
- Demonstrated ability to navigate confidential and high-stakes situations with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Adept at writing concise, well-structured reports with defensible conclusions
- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to fairness, inclusion, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Compliance, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Spanish language proficiency a strong plus
