Actalent is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our NYC office, focusing on Workplace Design and Corporate Interior projects. You will collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop functional office spaces and compelling presentations.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience, a degree in interior design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. This is a fully on-site, permanent opportunity in New York, NY with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
• 4–7 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer.
• Experience working on Workplace Design/Corporate Interior projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with different internal team members, clients, and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to create innovative and functional office spaces.
• Work on a variety of projects, including commercial spaces and landlord-related work.
• Space plan and develop material presentations.
• Create construction documents and work on FF&E for Workplace projects.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal team members, clients, and external consultants.
