Job summary

Continua Interiors is seeking a proven interior design professional to support the Midwest market from its Rockford, IL base. The role focuses on applying workplace design knowledge, product solutions, and strategic proposals to win new business while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will collaborate with sales, design, and vendors, manage multiple projects, and stay current on new product introductions. Travel locally and occasionally out of state is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in interior commercial construction/design
• Experience presenting solutions to clients and managing proposals
• Ability to work with teams to win new business and meet deadlines
• Proficient with CAD/design software and office tools
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally out of state

Responsibilities

• Participate in a “refuse to lose” strategy with the sales team to win new business.
• Assist in the sales process as lead or support where needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and workplace design expertise for Continua customers.
• Develop budgets, RFPs and RFIs.
• Support workplace strategy using Continua products and solutions.
• Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries to keep the sales cycle on track.
• Transition projects to sales and design teams smoothly.
• Stay current on new product introductions and knowledge.
• Produce high quality plans, renderings, and reports.
