We strive to create an environment of inclusion—one focused on psychological safety, empathy, and human connection that will allow employees of all backgrounds to thrive.

About The Role & Team

As a Workplace Coordinator, you'll help make Amplitude's San Francisco headquarters a place where people want to work. You'll own the day-to-day operations of our office—from facilities and vendors to supplies, events, and employee experience—while partnering closely with People, IT, Finance, and our Security Coordinator. This is a hands‑on role for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership, and can move quickly when priorities change. You'll report to the Head of Global Workplace and play an important role in keeping our HQ running smoothly and supporting a great in‑office experience.

As a Workplace Coordinator, you will:

  • Own day-to-day office and facilities operations, including space readiness, supplies, seating changes, maintenance requests, and coordination with building management.
  • Manage workplace vendors, invoices, purchase orders, and day-to-day spend while helping ensure services are delivered effectively and within budget.
  • Create a great employee experience by coordinating hybrid‑day programming, team events, all‑hands, celebrations, and executive, customer, and board visits.
  • Partner with IT and People to support new‑hire Day 1 logistics, including desk assignments, workstation readiness, office orientation, and badge access coordination.
  • Partner cross‑functionally on workplace projects, safety preparedness, office communications, and documentation while serving as a go‑to resource for employee questions about the office and its amenities.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities, vendors, and last‑minute requests without losing the details.
  • You have a bias toward action and use good judgment to solve problems rather than waiting for someone else to tell you what to do.
  • You communicate clearly and warmly with everyone from employees and executives to vendors and building partners. Leading with a hospitality white‑glove service mindset.
  • You are comfortable in a fast‑moving environment and stay composed when the office gets busy or plans change at the last minute.
  • You are excited to use technology and AI tools to work smarter and are comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Claude.

At a minimum, you need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in office coordination, workplace operations, facilities, hospitality, or administrative operations.
  • Experience managing vendors and processing invoices, purchase orders, or similar operational workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through from request to resolution.
  • Experience coordinating office events, employee programming, facilities needs, or new hire onboarding logistics.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack, along with the ability to quickly learn new workplace and operational tools.
