Job summary

Corporate Chaplains of America is seeking a part-time Workplace Chaplain in Roxboro, NC to provide confidential employee care, spiritual support, and crisis response within assigned businesses. The role emphasizes servant leadership, relational ministry, and presence with employees and families at life’s challenging moments.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of secular workplace experience, a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related ministry, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of full-time secular workplace experience (business degree may reduce).
• Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related ministry field from an accredited college or university.
• Strong Christian faith and servant leadership.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in manufacturing, warehouse, office environments.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, email, internet and mobile tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Promote a missionary mindset by building caring relationships with employees and leaders.
• Provide regular onsite workplace chaplain care and relationship-based ministry.
• Provide confidential emotional and spiritual support to employees and their families.
• Offer prayer, encouragement, practical care, and compassionate presence when welcomed.
• Respond to crises, hospitalizations, grief situations, and family emergencies.
• Build and maintain trust with employees, company leadership, and CCA leadership.
• Follow the CCA Team Member Handbook and training materials.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, humility, and servant leadership.
• Maintain timely follow-up with employees and workplace contacts.
• Display a positive team-player attitude with chaplains, managers, and senior leadership.
• Comply with requests and direction from senior CCA leadership.
