Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze transactions and credit requests, including amendments, extensions, DIP, and exit financings related to Chapter 11, debt restructuring, and insolvency proceedings; provide credit recommendations and present cases to senior management and underwriters.
  • Assist with interactions and reporting for internal / external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage portfolio risk through ongoing monitoring, limit reviews, and data integrity checks in credit and booking systems.
  • Determine and update credit loss reserves and manage write-offs in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Workout and Credit policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Provide independent oversight of credit quality, including daily credit approvals and portfolio reviews.
  • Stay updated on market developments, best practices, and trends in Workout and risk management.
  • Lead special risk projects, business continuity, and incident response activities related to Workout.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, Workout, Leveraged Lending, Project Finance, or Internal Audit. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, experience with financial modeling, and a thorough understanding of leveraged finance markets and regulatory standards.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Ability to analyze risk, design controls, and evaluate credit structures.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Experience interacting with regulators, auditors, and management at all levels.

Additional Information
