We are seeking a 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) Working Supervisor/Bindery Operator who is responsible for a combination of work performed in the Bindery Department, including operating the cutter, folder, stitcher, booklet maker, PUR binder, and effectively supervising 2nd shift employees.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate bindery equipment and supervise 2nd shift staff
• Report concerns to address technical and workflow issues
• Troubleshoot and solve problems on complex projects
• Ensure equipment is optimized and maintained according to standards
• Read and interpret bindery paperwork/job jackets
• Meet standards for make-ready and run times
• Communicate with Bindery Manager regarding project standards and expectations
• Produce high-quality work following Quality and Process Controls
• Record productivity and performance metrics
• Operate additional bindery equipment as needed for flexibility
• Recommend repairs, parts, and supplies
• Coordinate information transfer between shifts to minimize downtime
• Report operational concerns to Production Supervisor
• Participate in production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety policies and support safety initiatives
• Support organizational goals and perform other duties as required
