Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (any field).
• Experience: 10 years in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment, OR 5 years WCF plus MBA/CPA or similar credentials.
• Secret or higher clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closeout processes in the WCF environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal accounting standards (SFFAS) and DoD policies.
• Lead prep and validation of financial statements and reconciliations; maintain internal control documentation.
• Provide detailed analysis of transactions, adjustments, and variances.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Support audit readiness and respond to inquiries from external oversight bodies.
• Interface with systems like ADVANA, QDD, and DoD platforms.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across finance, operations, and leadership.

BizFirst is assisting our client withrecruiting a full-time Working Capital Fund Accounting Lead Analyst tosupport the Enterprise Space Activity Group (ESAG) initiative with the U.S.Space Force. What You Will Do

In this role, you will serve as the leadaccounting professional overseeing key financial operations, reporting, andanalysis within the Air Force Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment. You willprovide subject matter expertise on federal accounting standards, leadfinancial closeout and reconciliation efforts, and ensure the accuracy andintegrity of accounting data to support decision-making and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (any field)
  
• Experience Requirements (one ofthe following):
  
• 10 years of financial managementexperience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment, OR
  
• 5 years of WCF experience PLUSone of these credentials:
  
• Masters in BusinessAdministration (MBA)
  
• Certified Public Accountant(CPA)
  
• Preferred: Experience inaccounting operations management
  
• Preferred: DISA FAMIS experience.
  
• Security Clearance: Secret orhigher.
