The Workforce Programs Program Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of workforce development programs in the areas of information technology, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. This includes the expansion of these programs by researching, developing, and hiring faculty for new courses. This position manages program operations, supports instructor recruitment and supervision, monitors enrollment and performance metrics, and ensures programs align with industry standards and workforce needs. The Program Manager develops and maintains partnerships with employers, industry associations, and community stakeholders to enhance training opportunities and career pathways for students. Additionally, the role supports strategic growth initiatives, program marketing, budget management, and continuous improvement efforts to expand workforce training opportunities and meet regional labor market demands.
Bachelor's degree
Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Proven education program management and supervision skills highly desired; proven program start-up experience preferred. A minimum of 2 years working in education or program management areas required. Grant management and application experience preferred. Candidates with professional experience in information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, software development, cloud computing, networking, or related computer technologies are strongly preferred.
