Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern, PA, is seeking a Workforce & Portfolio Planning Analyst to partner with stakeholders to track IT portfolio investments, maintain budget forecasts, and support workforce planning.

You will develop dashboards, perform reporting for leadership, monitor budget performance, and analyze capacity and risks, while identifying automation opportunities to improve planning processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of related work experience required with at least one year in project management.
• One year of Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support IT annual and quarterly planning activities, including budget development, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Prepare IT portfolio, financial, and workforce reporting for leadership reviews and governance meetings.
• Track portfolio financials and monitor budget performance against approved plans.
• Analyze resource capacity, staffing levels, and workforce demand to identify gaps and risks.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools that provide insights into portfolio health, spending, and resource utilization and escalates issues, risks, or variances as appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to streamline planning, reporting, and workforce management processes through automation and process improvement.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools that provide insights into portfolio health, spending, and resource utilization and escalates issues, risks, or variances as appropriate.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
