Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to join their team. This is a remote role with standard 8am-5pm EST working hours, with flexibility regarding time zones. Below is an overview of the responsibilities.
Overview:
- Provide accountable ownership for meeting the engineering organization’s headcount targets, collaborating closely with FP&A, HR, and Finance on headcount planning based on budget and operational needs. Manage in-year target adjustments.
- Lead capacity and demand modeling to support resource sharing and addition discussions.
- Establish an operating cadence for strategic collaboration across engineering teams on headcount planning, setting and agreeing on targets for each GPE team.
- Develop a standardized process for review and approval of headcount additions.
- Maintain a daily management headcount dashboard.
- Analyze headcount data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Support business processes such as quarterly headcount planning, long-range forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning.
- Ensure data source consistency for a single source of truth and alignment.
- Prepare tailored presentations conveying key messages and guidance.
- Communicate headcount changes clearly across all organizational levels.
- Support organizational simplification and continuous improvement initiatives, including automation.
- Work effectively across functions and lead teams toward common goals.
- Partner with operations leaders to develop strategies for optimizing headcount allocation within the engineering organization.
Compensation
$35/hr to $41/hr, with exact figures depending on skills, experience, and education.
