Job summary

CT State Community College seeks a Coordinator of Workforce Transition and Outreach to support admission, enrollment, and workforce training-funded programs. You will advocate for dislocated workers and coordinate with One-Stop Centers, Adult Education, and partner agencies to connect training funds to credit and non-credit study options.

Qualifications

• Experience advising students or clients on academic or career pathways.
• Ability to review transcripts or similar documents to guide program placement.
• Strong communication skills for working with applicants, case managers, and agency partners.
• Experience with ERP software systems such as Banner and related products (Degree Works, CRM Advise Handshake, Focus2).

Responsibilities

• Provide program advising and retention support.
• Handle program administration and coordination with multiple departments.
