Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Charleston, SC is seeking a dedicated administrative professional to support programs and operations. You will screen calls, manage calendars, prepare reports, file documents, and assist with meetings and workshops, ensuring accurate data entry and timely communication with participants and partners.

Required are a high school diploma, 2+ years of admin support, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of hands-on administrative support experience.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and be able to drive for business purposes.
  • Must pass a drug screen in compliance with policy.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and field calls; manage calendars; arrange meetings and events; prepare reports; file and input data; greet visitors; create spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Provide general administrative support including mailing, scanning, faxing, copying; reserve space; order refreshments; prepare meeting materials.
  • Schedule participant intake, orientation, and workshops.
  • Establish and maintain monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external customers and community partners.
  • Develop and maintain filing system; ensure documents are organized and accessible.
  • Ensure documentation is scanned and accurate in databases and state reporting systems; conduct file audits.
  • Conduct follow-up services by contacting participants and documenting status monthly.

Hourly Rate: $20.00

Duties & Responsibilities
  • The responsibilities of this position include screening and fielding calls; managing calendars; arranging for meeting and programmatic events; preparing reports, filing and entering data; receiving and directing visitors; word processing; creating spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Provides general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying, reserves space, orders refreshments and prepares presentation materials for meetings and workshops as needed.
  • Schedules participant intake, orientation, and workshops.
  • Establishes and maintains monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external customers as well as community partners to ensure the timely and accurate flow of information.
  • Develops and maintains a filing system; ensures files are organized, accurate, up-to-date, and clearly marked for easy access.
  • Ensures quality control by ensuring all documentation is scanned and accurate in the database and/or State Reporting System; conducts random file audits to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local requirements.
  • Conducts follow-up services by contacting participants and documenting current status on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of hands on administrative support experience.
  • Must have appropriate and valid state driver's license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
