Job summary

Diversicare is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage hourly team member schedules, coverage, and attendance at our Eupora, MS facility. This role supports payroll accuracy and requires coordination across shifts to meet staffing needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, prior staffing experience, and familiarity with long-term care operations; an LPN is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Staffing experience and understanding of long term/hospital setting operations.
• An LPN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, report, and post schedules of hourly team members.
• Notify appropriate personnel of call-ins and assists with securing coverage.
• Maintain attendance records and notify management of attendance issues.
• Enter and maintain data relative to scheduling using company software (OnShift).
• Obtain daily staffing requests and fill them efficiently.
• Uphold accurate system for tracking staffing across shifts.
• Coordinate team members to meet organizational requirements.
• Monitor overtime accumulation and attendance of team members.
• Work with payroll to verify payroll accuracy.
• Process team members vacation requests.
