Hispanic Federation (HF) is the nation's premier Latino nonprofit membership organization. Founded in 1990, HF supports Hispanic families and strengthens Latino institutions through grantmaking and direct services in the areas of education, health, immigration, civic engagement, economic empowerment and the environment. According to Brookings, nearly two - thirds of all new jobs created since 2010 required either high or medium level digital skills. Latinos make up 18% of the overall U.S. lab or market and will account for one out of every two new workers entering the workforce by 2025, but also make up 35% of workers with no digital skills; 20% of those with limited skills; and only 8% of all STEM jobs. Hispanic Federation's Workforce Initiati ves Program seeks to address these issues through community - based workforce development and technology trainings.

Who we seek :
Hispanic Federation (HF) seeks a Workforce Initiatives Program Coordinator to help manage and contribute to HF’s Workforce Initiatives programmatic and advocacy efforts aimed at increas ing the financial security of Latino families . The program connect s families with high - quality jobs and provides access to the digital economy . The Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Workforce Initiatives Program Manager and will be instrumental in supporting administrative and reporting duties for the program and will communicate regularly with HF grantee organizations . The Coordinator will also learn the intricacies of community outreach, workforce development initiatives, internet adoption programs, digital learning centers program , a nd poverty reduction efforts, and will aid with HF’s public policy advocacy.

The successful candidate is d etail - oriented and has experience and interest with capacity building programs . The position requires a high attention to detail, strong organizational skill, and a commitment to increasing workforce development opportunities to underserved communities.

Reports to: Workforce Initiatives Program Manager


Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely financial and program activity reports on grants and program initiatives to Workforce Initiatives team

• Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and prepare programmatic reports
• Collect data and metrics results for reporting and knowledge sharing in the digital skills training space
• Coordinate HF’s workforce development initiatives, including the execution and implementation of a digital accelerator for Latino non - profit organizations in the technology workforce development space
• Serve as point of contact between Hispanic Federation and program service providers/grantees, and consultants, monitoring performance, funding, and payments
• Manage regular communication with grantees to provide grant oversite, and identify opportunities fo r collaboration and/or additional support
• Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and prepare programmatic reports
• Operate other workforce development initiatives including the implementation of digital learning hubs and production of career events connecting job seekers to employment opportunities and skills training resources

Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated knowledge of non - profit programs and services within underserved low - income communities preferably centered around digital equity , workforce development, and/or organizational capacity building
• At least one ( 1 ) year of professional experience in administration, logistics or program management
• Excellent technology skills; experience with Office 365, conference platforms, and third - party databases
• Efficient, detail - oriented and organized
• Ability to multi - task and balance assignments from more than one staff person
• Strong, well - developed verbal and writing skills
• Exceptional ability to work with others and develop trust with partner agencies and staff
• Commitment to Hispanic Federation's mission and core values
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is a plus, but not required

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 and is commensurate with experience. Compensation includes fully subsidized medical, dental, vision insurance accessible on first day of employment; access to flexible spending for medical and transport ation; and a 403 (B) retirement plan with a company match after 6 months of service
