Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

About Us:

At the New Mexico Primary Care Association (NMPCA), our mission is to increase access to comprehensive, quality primary healthcare for all New Mexicans. We support a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) through training, technical assistance, and workforce development. Join a passionate, mission-driven team working to improve healthcare in communities across New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee NMPCA’s training and technical assistance activities aligned with federal grant priorities.
  • Facilitate a statewide Healthcare Workforce Networking Committee composed of FQHC representatives.
  • Support member health centers in building sustainable workforce pipelines and retention strategies.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community colleges, universities, and other stakeholders.
  • Design and implement workforce initiatives to address provider shortages and expand access to care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, inclusive approach.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector, especially in workforce development.
  • Experience working with or in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) required.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects.
