Job summary

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a distribution center supervisor to oversee daily site operations and ensure optimal coverage.

You will manage employee schedules, conduct shift check-ins, enforce policies, and drive safety and compliance at a large facility. The role includes coordinating training, addressing safety concerns, supporting payroll processing, and assisting with onboarding of associates.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing daily operations of a large distribution center.
• Experience coordinating employee schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Ability to perform employee check-ins and track attendance occurrences.
• Familiar with safety, production, and site compliance procedures.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a large Distribution center.
• Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
• Perform employee check-ins at the start of 1st shift and track attendance including callouts and tardiness.
• Enforce all workplace policies and procedures.
• Coordinate training and development for employees.
• Address and report safety concerns/injuries promptly.
• Ensure safety, production, and compliance across the worksite.
• Answer inquiries from clients and employees.
• Mediate on-site conflicts.
• Assist in payroll processing for a large number of employees.
• Conduct frequent walk-throughs to ensure production needs are met.
• Recruiting and staffing open positions; complete onboarding of associates.
• Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong public speaking skills.
• Team-player with collaboration focus; backup Team Lead when Supervisors are out.
• Forklift experience needed.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

• Team-player attitude with a focus on collaboration, will act as a backup Team Lead when Supervisors are out.
