Job summary

Select Consulting Resources is seeking a Work Flow Developer / Systems Analyst to contribute to rules and workflow software development across projects. The role requires strong development capabilities and the ability to serve as a go‑to person for complex tasks, with good time and task management skills.

The candidate will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle and act as the communication intermediary between departments and IT for application requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or Nursing preferred.
• In depth understanding of software development methodologies and concepts.
• Experience with Windows, Visual Basic experience, JAVA, J2EE, ASP.net, HTML, HTTP, JSP, Struts, MVC patterns, XML, XSLT, SOAP, UDDI, and other web services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Soarian Workflow and Rules Engines.
• Create workflow and rules within Soarian and maintain related interfaces.
• Complete database builds to customer specifications in a timely manner.

The Work Flow Developer is a role assigned to one or more projects related to rules and work flow software development. A work flow developer is an experienced developer on projects who has strong development capabilities and can act as a go-to person on difficult development tasks. This person will have good time and task management skills.

The Work Flow Developer is typically involved in all phases of the project life cycle and focused on activities related to assigned areas of functionality. The Developer will serve as the communication intermediary between assigned departments & IT for all application related requests & issues. Will apply structured analysis & design techniques to operational requirements of each system. Insure that the system meets the specified functional requirements via a complete & fully tested system.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or Nursing preferred.

Experience : In depth understanding of software development methodologies and concepts. Experience with Windows, Visual Basic experience, JAVA, J2EE, ASP.net, HTML, HTTP, JSP, Struts, MVC patterns, XML, XSLT, SOAP, UDDI, and other web services.

Knowledge and Skills : You must understand complex data concepts related to information system applications, networks and interfaces. You must possess strong analytical and statistical skills and interpretive abilities to analyze data, a professional demeanor, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. You must be proficient in use of project management, word processing, flowcharting, database, and electronic mail software applications or the ability to learn in a short period of time.

Job Functions

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the capabilities of Soarian Workflow and Rules Engines, a thorough understanding of the steps necessary to create workflow and rules within Soarian, a thorough understanding of support and maintenance of Soarian Workflow, Rules and Interfaces. Complete database builds to customer specifications and in a timely manner.
