Overview

Pratt Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Developer to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This role is essential for supporting and enhancing our manufacturing operations by implementing and maintaining Design Workflow Applications. Responsibilities
  • Help install, administrate and support a Design Workflow Product
  • Work extensively with our software vendor to build and integrate a design workflow software platform
  • Provide support to our design segment
  • Collaborate with business analysts and manufacturing stakeholders to understand business requirements, and translate into technical specifications.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field OR equivalent practical experience (3+ years) in software development.
  • Project Management
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex system issues that impact production.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to both IT peers and non-technical business users (e.g., floor supervisors, finance staff).
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in coding, testing, and system maintenance to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Adaptability & Urgency: Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond quickly to time-sensitive manufacturing issues, and adjust to changing business needs.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Skills/experience
  • Familiarity with WebCenter, Esko, Artios, Arden
  • Manufacturing Industry experience (particularly in design/CAD)
  • Experience with Workflow Software packages
  • Experience coordinating/ software vendor professional services activities
