Job summary

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is seeking a Project Employee (Workflow Development) to streamline Content Operations by building and maintaining tools used for shoot scheduling, data tracking, and reporting. This temporary role emphasizes programming, scripting, and spreadsheet automation to support production workflows.

You'll work with DevOps and Cybersecurity teams to deploy secure applications, transform datasets into actionable insights, and automate data flows across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and React.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with API integration and web scraping.
• Experience with code maintenance, version control, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain spreadsheet automations and web applications that streamline shoot scheduling, camera crew coordination, footage tracking, and other content production workflows.
• Partner with operational teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop integrations that connect systems, automate data flows, and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cybersecurity teams to deploy, secure, and launch applications.
• Transform complex datasets into reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support planning and decision‑making.
• Troubleshoot issues, support users, and improve tools as operational needs evolve.
