Travelers is seeking a seasoned leader to manage a team of Workers' Compensation claim professionals in California. You will guide staff, conduct regular file reviews, and align the team with the Home Office product vision while driving quality and performance.

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
$104,000.00 - $171,700.00
Under general direction and as a member of the local management team, this position is responsible for product quality and performance for a specific team of Workers Compensation claim professionals. Provide guidance and direction to direct reports through a continuous process of management involvement and frequent claim file review. Serve as a field representative for the Home Office Workers Compensation product, as requested. Reinforce the Workers Compensation Vision, Strategies, and Objectives through word and action. Select, lead, mentor, performance manage and develop staff. This job manages staff.
In order to perform the essential functions of this job, acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) may be required to comply with state and Travelers requirements. Generally, license(s) must be obtained within three months of starting the job and obtain ongoing continuing education credits as mandated.
