What You\'ll Do
  • Investigate and evaluate critical facts such as physician reports, job restrictions, job descriptions, state law, and legal opinions to make return to work decisions for accommodating injured employees with temporary physical limitations.
  • Review settlement recommendations from our third-party administrator, collaborate with adjusters and defense attorneys, and provide settlement authority up to pre-approved amounts.
  • Review open workers compensation claims and provide direction to our third-party administrator employees to ensure fair and efficient claim resolution.
  • Guide our injured employees through the claim process when questions arise.
  • Approve the use of vendors including defense attorneys, nurse case managers, surveillance companies, and ancillary medical services.
  • Complete required OSHA and other state workers compensation requirements.
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor\'s degree and 1 - 2 years of experience in risk management, insurance claims, or similar customer service position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
