Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Pricing Analyst in Atlanta to evaluate risks and determine pricing within authority levels. You will analyze legal entities, perform loss analyses, and assign WC classifications to help drive profitable business.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years’ underwriting experience, and familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms. Travel minimal; remote/hybrid options available where appropriate.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of workers' compensation underwriting experience.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar platform preferred.
• Experience with the PEO business model preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation pricing/rating.
• AINS or AU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of legal entity including exposures, loss analysis, WC classification codes and pricing.
• Establish and maintain disciplined approach to risk review to approve profitable business.
• Develop relationships with TriNet colleagues to collaborate through the WC review process.
• Present WC business for approval to the WC insurance carrier per guidelines.
• Provide consultative advice on WC pricing guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Brief Overview

The Workers Compensation Pricing Analyst is responsible for evaluating or assessing the business submitted by identifying, selecting and assessing risk to determine adequate pricing.

What You Will Do

• Perform detailed analysis of legal entity which includes identifying exposures, completing a loss analysis, assigning workers compensation classification codes and determining appropriate workers compensation pricing within provided authority levels.
• Establish and maintain disciplined approach to review and manage the risk with the ultimate objective to approve profitable business.
• Develop effective relationships with TriNet colleagues in order to be able to collaborate throughout the WC review process
• Present workers compensation business for approval by the worker’s compensation insurance carrier that falls under submission guidelines to the Lead WC Pricing Analyst
• Provide consultative advice to management on WC Pricing guidelines, pricing standards and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience Qualifications

• Typically 2+ years of experience underwriting workers compensation required
• experience utilizing Salesforce or similar platform preferred
• experience with the Professional Employer Organization business model preferred

The preferred locations for this role are Atlanta, GA, Minneapolis, MN, Austin, TX or Denver, CO and the salary range for this location is $63,600 to $118,000.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta, Minneapolis, Austin or Denver. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta, Minneapolis, Austin or Denver and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
