Job summary

EPITEC is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Plant Representative II for an onsite role at our Claycomo, Missouri facility. You will serve as the primary workers' compensation claims handler, delivering customer service, effective claim management, and cost containment while ensuring compliance with Missouri regulations.

The position requires 3–5 years of Missouri WC claims adjusting, strong investigations skills, and the ability to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Missouri Workers' Compensation Claims Adjusting experience.
• Experience handling Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation regulations, investigations and settlement processes.
• Ability to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process complex workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution.
• Investigate claims, gather information, and determine claim exposure.
• Handle a full caseload, including high-severity and complex claims.
• Develop and execute action plans for timely, cost-effective outcomes.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust claim reserves throughout the life of each claim.
• Calculate and issue benefit payments with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit required state filings within deadlines.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, investigators, medical providers, and vendors.
• Utilize cost-containment strategies and vendor partnerships to reduce costs.
• Manage claim recoveries including subrogation and Second Injury Fund offsets.
• Report applicable claims to excess insurance carriers.
• Communicate claim status with claimants and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation in systems.
• Escalate complex issues to management as appropriate.

Position Overview

This onsite role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, effective claim management, and cost-containment strategies while ensuring compliance with Missouri workers' compensation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process complex workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution.
• Investigate claims, gather relevant information, and determine claim exposure.
• Handle a full caseload, including claims with increased severity and complexity.
• Develop and execute action plans to achieve timely and cost-effective claim outcomes.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust claim reserves throughout the life of each claim.
• Calculate and issue benefit payments while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit required state filings within statutory deadlines.

Required Qualifications
