Job summary

Illinois Secretary of State's LOA - Workers Comp division seeks a Personnel Specialist in Springfield to manage workers' compensation files, coordinate with CMS, Risk Management, and the TPA, and ensure compliance and record retention.

Qualifications

• Requires four-year college degree and two years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of personnel/human resources practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze facts and draw conclusions.
• Willingness to travel and valid IL driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workers' compensation files and documents.
• Coordinate with TPA, Risk Management, CMS and other parties.
• Review FMLA/disability leave requests and notify employees.
• Support record retention and OSHA data reporting.
• Assist return-to-work processes and communications.
