Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner for NY jurisdiction, with remote-friendly options. You will analyze Lost-Time claims, adjudicate benefits, and coordinate with clients and claimants to deliver timely, accurate resolutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Public Entity Workers Compensation experience preferred.
• NY jurisdiction knowledge required; NY licensing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Lost-Time Workers' Compensation claims to determine benefits due.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions in a professional and timely manner.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree preferred

Professional certification as applicable to line of business

Public Entity Workers Compensation experience preferred
