POSITION: CA Workers Comp Claims Examiner III

Fully Remote

FULLTIME

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday

PAY RANGE: $40-50/hr. (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Temp to hire. Non-public entity caseload of about 125 mix of Indemnity files.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Claims Expertise Needed: California workers compensation lost time, indemnity claims experience with at least 4-5 years of experience.
  • State of Residence: California. Due to the resident licensing requirement, the candidate must be domiciled in the state of CA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred); three (3) to five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SIP required. CA Designation preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical knowledge of statutory regulations.
  • Ability to work on a diary system, prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey technical details to claimants, clients, and staff.
  • Ability to manage employees of various skill levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
  • Use of computers and technology
