CCMSI in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a complex portfolio of claims. You will lead investigations, guide strategy, and deliver fair, timely resolutions for a single dedicated client account.

With 5+ years of hands-on WC claims experience and multi-state exposure, you will collaborate with attorneys, medical providers, and case managers to drive outcomes while aligning with CCMSI’s high standards of service and responsiveness.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
  • Experience in multiple states is a bonus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Arizona adjuster license is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, and manage workers’ compensation claims in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
  • Establish reserves, authorize payments, and negotiate settlements within authority levels.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, case managers, and vendors to drive claim resolution.
  • Monitor claim progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide timely status reports.
  • Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities when appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
  • Handle complex claims with minimal supervision while adhering to client handling instructions.
  • Participate in claim reviews, hearings, mediations, training sessions, and client meetings.

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm (MDT) - (Flexibility for an earlier start time)

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant with experience in multiple states, to manage a complex portfolio of claims with confidence, empathy, and sound professional judgment. With 5+ years of hands‑on claims experience, you will lead thorough investigations, guide claim strategy, and ensure fair, timely resolutions.

Supporting a single dedicated client account, you will serve as a trusted claims partner, developing deep expertise in the client's operations and delivering a personalized, high-touch claims experience. This role also offers a strong development pathway for advancement into more senior claim positions. As a Claim Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to CCMSI clients and upholding our high standards of quality and responsiveness.

This is a full life‑cycle WC adjuster position within a TPA environment, and only candidates with proven Workers’ Compensation claims experience will be considered.

  • Arizona adjuster’s or home license is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency — highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.
  • Previous experience handling waste management accounts ina preferred.

Compensation & Compliance

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good‑faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
