Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• 1+ year of workers' compensation or comparable litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and build strong, evidence-driven cases.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and hearing materials.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
• Represent clients before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.
• Partner with medical providers and other professionals to maximize case value.
• Counsel clients with clear communication and trusted guidance.
• Collaborate with legal support staff to move cases forward.

Location

This is primarily an on-site opportunity in the Richmond/Henrico, Virginia area, offering close collaboration with our legal team. Limited flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates.
