Qualifications

• Ability to manage cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance representatives, and other parties.
• Develop case strategy and independently manage assigned matters.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and other members of the legal team.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely, practical legal guidance.
• Meet an annual billable-hour expectation of approximately 2,100 hours.
