Workers' Compensation Attorney

Duties:

Manage and litigate a caseload of workers’ compensation claims

Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and case summaries

Appear at pre-trials, case management conferences, and hearings

Develop medical-legal knowledge to effectively argue compensation claims

Participate in arbitration proceedings and appeals within the Illinois legal system

Work collaboratively with team members and senior attorneys on strategy and case development

Maintain timely and professional communication with clients and opposing counsel

Participate in training and mentorship programs to enhance litigation capabilities

Requirements:

3-5 years of legal practice experience

Foundational or working knowledge of Illinois workers’ compensation law

Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and case priorities

Demonstrated strengths in oral and written communication

Capacity to engage in negotiations and client interaction with professionalism and empathy

Education:
